Blackbird

Fifteen years after an abusive relationship that changed both of their lives, Una unexpectedly appears at Ray’s workplace.

She was twelve when they first met. He was an adult. Their relationship ended with Ray’s imprisonment, while Una was left to live with its consequences. Ray has since changed his name, built another life and tried to leave the past behind. Una has not.

Now, face to face for the first time in fifteen years, they are forced to return to what happened between them.

Blackbird unfolds as an intense confrontation between memory, guilt, desire and responsibility, constantly challenging the stories its two characters have constructed about their shared past and about themselves.
